About the CFMS
The CFMS is an organization representing over 8,000 medical students from 15 Canadian medical student societies from coast to coast. We represent medical students to the public, to the federal government, and to national and international medical organizations.La version en français suivra.
As the representative voice of Canadian medical students, the Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS) represents you and your colleagues to many national medical organizations including the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS).
CACMS is the committee that assesses and accredits medical schools in Canada. Involvement in this committee is a large responsibility as many documents pertaining to the university under assessment must be reviewed and evaluated. Four students sit on this committee (two appointed by CFMS and two by FMEQ). Each student body has a senior and a junior representative.
This winter, we are looking for 1 Junior Representative at the CACMS. This is a two-year term position.

En tant que porte-parole des étudiants en médecine du Canada, la Fédération canadienne des étudiants en médecine (FCEM) vous représente, vous et vos collègues, auprès de nombreuses organisations médicales nationales, dont le Comité d’agrément des facultés de médecine du Canada (CAFMC).
Le CAFMC est le comité qui évalue et accrédite les facultés de médecine au Canada. La participation à ce comité représente une grande responsabilité car de nombreux documents relatifs à l’université évaluée doivent être examinés et évalués. Quatre étudiants siègent à ce comité (deux nommés par le CFMS et deux par la FMEQ). Chaque corps étudiant a un représentant senior et un représentant junior.
Cet hiver, nous sommes à la recherche d’un représentant junior au CACMS. Il s’agit d’un poste d’une durée de deux ans.
