What is the Selections Committee? The Selections Committee will be made up of general members who do not currently sit on a round table or are not currently part of any portfolio in the CFMS. You can be on the selections committee if you are applying for some positions this recruitment season but will not be able to participate in the selections for any portfolio which you are applying to be part of. Members of the selections committee will be divided up amongst the portfolios to review and score anonymized applications alongside portfolio members and roundtable members. The Selections Committee, round table reviewers, and portfolio committee members will be provided with clear direction and training on how to review and score applications via a live, interactive training session including portfolio specific information for each portfolio on June 5th at 6 pm EDT (NOTE: it will be recorded for those who have conflicts and cannot attend live but the training session is a requirement). The goal of the Selections Committee is to promote an equitable lens reflecting EDI values. EDI passionate students and students typically underrepresented in medicine and leadership are encouraged to join us if interested!
The Selections Committee will be assisting the round tables in reviewing applications for appointed positions received during the CFMS Spring Recruitment period which is currently taking place (set to close Friday, June 3rd at 11:59 pm PDT). Reviewing of applications by the Selections Committee will commence once the application period has closed and the training session has taken place, beginning on June 6th and ending June 17th at the latest.
We hope that by providing an opportunity for General Members to participate in the reviewing of applications we will be able to better reflect membership desires for our organization and promote transparency in the selection process.

Postulez dès maintenant pour rejoindre notre comité de sélection printemps 2022! Les candidatures sont ouvertes jusqu’au vendredi 3 juin à 23h59 PDT.
Qu’est-ce que le comité de sélection ? Le comité de sélection sera composé de membres généraux qui ne siègent pas actuellement à une table ronde ou qui ne font actuellement partie d’aucun portefeuille de la FEMC. Vous pouvez faire partie du comité de sélection si vous postulez pour certains postes cette saison de recrutement, mais ne pourrez pas participer aux sélections pour tout portefeuille auquel vous postulez. Les membres du comité de sélection seront répartis entre les portefeuilles pour examiner et noter les candidatures anonymisées aux côtés des membres du portefeuille et des membres de la table ronde. Le comité de sélection, les examinateurs de la table ronde et les membres du comité de portefeuille recevront une orientation claire et une formation sur la façon d’examiner et de noter les candidatures via une session de formation interactive en direct comprenant des informations spécifiques au portefeuille pour chaque portefeuille le 5 juin à 18 h HAE (REMARQUE : il sera enregistré pour ceux qui ont des conflits et ne peuvent pas assister en direct mais la session de formation est obligatoire). L’objectif du comité de sélection est de promouvoir une optique équitable reflétant les valeurs de l’EDI. Les étudiants passionnés par l’EDI et les étudiants généralement sous-représentés en médecine et en leadership sont encouragés à nous rejoindre s’ils sont intéressés !
Le comité de sélection aidera les tables rondes à examiner les candidatures aux postes nommés reçues pendant la période de recrutement du printemps de la FEMC qui se déroule actuellement (qui se terminera le vendredi 3 juin à 23 h 59 HAP). L’examen des candidatures par le comité de sélection commencera une fois la période de candidature terminée et la session de formation commencée le 6 juin et se terminant le 17 juin au plus tard.
Nous espérons qu’en offrant aux membres généraux la possibilité de participer à l’examen des candidatures, nous serons en mesure de mieux refléter les souhaits des membres pour notre organisation et de promouvoir la transparence dans le processus de sélection.
