The CFMS is an organization representing over 8,000 medical students from 15 Canadian medical student societies from coast to coast. We represent medical students to the public, to the federal government, and to national and international medical organizations.La version en français suivra.
PRESS RELEASE: Voting for the Next NDoA Topic is Out Now!
Every year, the CFMS organizes a National Day of Action (NDoA) in which medical students meet with Members of Parliament (MPs) in Ottawa to advocate for a particular health-related issue. The Topic Selection Committee (Amna Majeed, Christopher O’Grady, Grace Lin and Gunisha Kalra) has been hard at work to research which advocacy topics interest medical students this year to present at the NDoA 2022. As such, research documents, videos and graphics have been prepared pertaining to the four NDoA topics shortlisted this year: Newcomer Health, Indigenous Child Welfare, Climate Action and Decriminalization of Opioids. Now, the CFMS would like to see your input from across the country as to which of the four topics you would like to see advocated for on a national stage! Please vote by Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021.

COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE : L’ élection pour le prochain sujet de la journée nationale d’action se passe maintenant!
Chaque année, la FEMC organise une journée nationale d’action (JNdA) où des étudiants en médecine rencontrent des membres du Parlement au Ottawa pour examiné un sujet lié à la santé avec quelque problèmes. Le comité de sélection des sujets (Amna Majeed, Christopher O’Grady, Grace Lin et Gunisha Kalra) à rechercher un numéro des sujets de plaidoyer qui intéresse les étudiants en médecine à présenter à la JNdA 2022. Par conséquent, les documents de recherche, les vidéos et les graphiques ont été préparés concernant les quatre sujets de la JNdA présélectionnés cette année : la santé des nouveaux arrivants, le bien-être des enfants Indigènes, l’action pour le climat et la décriminalisation des opioïdes. Maintenant, la FEMC aimerait voir votre contribution de partout au pays pour savoir lequel des quatre sujets vous aimeriez voir défendu dans le niveau nationale!
