About the CFMS
The CFMS is an organization representing over 8,000 medical students from 15 Canadian medical student societies from coast to coast. We represent medical students to the public, to the federal government, and to national and international medical organizations.The CFMS is announcing that the current Board of Directors will be ending its term early and will facilitate a transition to a new Board after the election of its successors at the 2021 Spring General Meeting. The Board collectively made this decision after extensive consideration about how best to support the continued success of the organization and well-being of those involved.
The current Board remains committed to supporting medical students over the coming months, particularly during the ongoing R1 match, and will ensure an appropriate handover following the Spring General Meeting. Additional details on the election process will be communicated to members leading up to the meeting.
