About the CFMS
The CFMS is an organization representing over 8,000 medical students from 15 Canadian medical student societies from coast to coast. We represent medical students to the public, to the federal government, and to national and international medical organizations.We are officially announcing that Avrilynn Ding, Sehjal Bhargava, Mary Boulos, Jessica Garabon, and Kathleen MacMillan resigned together from our Board of Directors on Jan 12th. Please see their attached letter. One other member from our Board of Directors resigned on Jan 14th. We thank them for their contributions and wish them the best of success as they continue to make positive change in the medical community.
The remaining CFMS Board of Directors takes accountability for and is committed to moving the organization forward. We are committed to continuing our important work on behalf of medical students in Canada and will be adapting operations in each portfolio to ensure that we are able to maintain our core work on behalf of the membership.
