About the CFMS

The CFMS is an organization representing over 8,000 medical students from 15 Canadian medical student societies from coast to coast. We represent medical students to the public, to the federal government, and to national and international medical organizations.

Announcing the AFN/CFMS Joint Forum on Indigenous Mental Wellness - hosted by the  Assembly of First Nations (AFN) and Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS)

Please join us on Sunday, May 27th at 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM EST  by WebEx teleconferencing to:

• Share reflections, learning, and outcomes of CFMS National Day of Action on Indigenous Mental Wellness
• Participate in stimulating conversation and brainstorming with medical students and AFN representatives
• Learn about the work of AFN, and how medical students can assist in advocacy efforts moving forward

Chief Isadore Day (Assembly of First Nations Health File Lead) and Carol Hopkins (Executive Director of Thunderbird Partnership Foundation) will share remarks. All CFMS members are encouraged to attend, including those that attended the CFMS Day of Action on Indigenous Mental Wellness!
