About the CFMSThe CFMS is an organization representing over 8,000 medical students from 15 Canadian medical student societies from coast to coast. We represent medical students to the public, to the federal government, and to national and international medical organizations.
The CFMS is delighted to announce at its Spring General Meeting in Halifax, April 27-28 2018, the publication of the Summary Report on the National Medical Student Day of Action on Indigenous Mental Wellness.
Day of Action was held on February 12, 2018 in Ottawa on Parliament Hill, and involved over 70 medical students from across Canada, meeting with over 60 MPs and policy makers.
The Summary Report contains findings from our months-long community consultation process, the inspiration and source of the policy recommendations brought forward on Day of Action.
