About the CFMS
The CFMS is an organization representing over 8,000 medical students from 15 Canadian medical student societies from coast to coast. We represent medical students to the public, to the federal government, and to national and international medical organizations.~Le français suit~
The Student Mistreatment File Co-Leads will be responsible for leading the development of a strategy around learner mistreatment which will focus on advocacy, student education, working with student affairs offices and the AFMC (Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada) nationally and development of an official CFMS position paper among other contributions. Key to the Co-Leads’ work will be becoming familiar with mistreatment policies and procedures across Canada.
The Co-Leads will work within the CFMS’ national wellness program framework, specifically advancing the advocacy arm of our work. Successful candidates will work directly with the National Wellness Program Lead and the VP Student Affairs.
Successful candidates should have an strong interest in promoting student wellness. Experience in serving on faculty professionalism committees and/or developing mistreatment policies at member schools is an asset.

Appel de candidatures: Co-Directeur de la Maltraitance des Étudiants
Les co-directeurs de la Maltraitance des Étudiants seront responsables de diriger le développement d’une stratégie autour de la maltraitance des apprenants. Cette stratégie se concentrera sur la défense, l’éducation des étudiants, la collaboration avec les départements des affaires étudiantes et l’AFMC au niveau national. Ils développeront un exposé de position officiel de la FEMC ainsi que d’autres contributions. Un aspect important de cette position sera de devenir familier avec les politiques et procédures de maltraitance à travers le Canada.
Les co-directeurs travailleront parmi le cadre du programme de bien-être national, surtout la défense. Ils vont collaborer directement avec le directeur du Programme de Bien-Être national et le VP des Affaires Étudiantes.
Les candidats sélectionnés doivent avoir un vif intérêt à promouvoir le bien-être des étudiants. De l’expérience antérieure en tant que membre des comités de professionnalisme aux écoles membres de la FEMC et/ou avec le développement des politiques sur la maltraitance est un atout.
